WHO ARE WE?

The Rotary Club of Woodstock was chartered by Rotary International on April 22, 1968. Throughout its history, the Rotary Club of Woodstock has been committed to implementing community and international service projects that encourage and foster:

FIRST. The development of acquaintances as an opportunity for service;

SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;

THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;

FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

  • Woodstock Rotary Clearing House – Food, Gifts, and Clothes for over 1,100 Families and Seniors
  • Robust Online Fundraising for Christmas Clearing House
  • Third Annual Jeep Raffle Fundraiser – Raised over $40,000 for Scholarships and Project Support
  • New and Fully Redesigned ADA Compliant Santa Hut on Woodstock Square
  • Provided a Paid Summer Internship to a Local College Student
  • Expansion of “Fueling Futures” Program to both High Schools – Assisting over 40 Families
  • Collection of Toys for Hearthstone Early Learning Center at Christmastime
  • Through “Operation Warm,” Supplied $2,500 in New Shoes and Winter Coats to Woodstock Schools
  • $11,000 in Service, Vocational, and Academic Scholarships Awarded to Community Students
  • International and Local Grants Given to Guatemala Literacy Project, Shelter Box, and Polio Plus
